My 25th birthday is quickly approaching… okay, not exactly, its not until October, but I’ve already started my 25th Year To Do List! When I was 12 (sounds forever ago now) I wrote birthday letters to myself for my 16th, 21st and 24th birthdays (corny, I know). I’d naturally forgotten about them until I found an old box of my things from that year. I’ve accomplished some of the things I’d hoped to (working in anti-crime, finished a graduate degree, visited Scotland, & wore red polish ( a huge no-no from mom when I was 12 which is why I’m guessing it made it on to the Must Do By 16 list…)… but there are quite a few things left to do. First on my to do list (now that the all important red nail polish can be crossed off of the list…), I’ve always wanted to see the northern lights. I love all things astronomy and space.. and of course star trek as well. I’d love to see a perfectly clear, beautiful starry night and the northern lights— it all seems to gorgeous to not see in person :-) Note: the picture is from National Geographic http://environment.nationalgeographic.com/environment/photos/arctic-climate-change/
